Social Media Changes in 2019

Hi there. It’s been a while since I’ve written something for the website so I thought I’d deliver you some news as an apology for personally being rather quiet.

Over the next few weeks there are going to be some big changes from our social media team.

To begin with; we will be transferring our Dinosaur Run Twitter and Facebook accounts to an archive status. This hasn’t been an easy decision to make, and has been a topic in many team meetings over the last few months. This does not mean that Dinosaur Run is being cancelled, instead all Dinosaur Run development news will be coming out of all of our Kenomica Productions platforms instead.

When we began opening social media accounts for both Kenomica Productions and Dinosaur Run, we didn’t really think about the long term plan. Over time we have come to realise that while it’d be great to have a social media platform for each title we release; it would be far too much work for us to keep on top of seeing as we are such a small team.

This change means we will have more time to focus on delivering you better quality content overall, plus some new ideas that we have in store for you.

In our last team meeting, a suggestion was put forward to find new ways in which we could best deliver our content to you. To help us look deeper into this; we created a poll on our Kenomica Productions Twitter and Facebook pages to get some feedback on how you best like to receive news.

The response was very positive to the ideas we had, and moving forward we are looking at creating our monthly news reports in both a blog and vlog format.

We hope that this will offer everyone the opportunity to choose how to view our content and offer a wider range of media for you to enjoy. We hope to deliver high quality, informative content in fun, new ways and hope you will join us in exploring this new path.

So in the next few weeks, you can expect to see my face a little more as we begin uploading videos with more content coming from our Kenomica productions social media accounts. We will have more details over the next week to the archiving of the Dinosaur Run social media accounts posted to the Kenomica Productions Twitter and Facebook pages.

We’d love to hear what you think to these changes.
